A combination of academic and industry experiences and roles have all contributed to my development within the field of engineering. I have completed a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at Brunel University and PhD at the University of Warwick. Within industry, I have completed a graduate training scheme at one of the world’s largest engineering companies. These experiences led onto becoming a Chartered Engineer.
– Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering: I have extensive knowledge and experience of computational and experimental methods and applications in engineering. I have direct experience and successes in design, analysis, manufacturing and testing.
– Quality management: I have knowledge of ISO quality management systems including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 along with other ASTM and ISO standards within industry and academia.
– Project management and leadership: I have been responsible for planning, managing and completing projects along with managing people.
– Research and development: Completed and delivered world class research to contribute to knowledge and solve complex problems.
As far back as I can remember I have been fascinated by cars, machines and anything that moves. I have so much passion for engineering, from high revving race cars or superbikes to medical devices that improve and save peoples lives.
I want to inspire as many people as I can within engineering, science and technology.
